How to Use the Grants Module

Eleo has a Grant module where you can keep track of all of your grants and tasks associated with them.

1. Hover over Grants and click on Add Grant.

2. Fill out your grant information. Any fields with a red asterisk (*) are required and must be

completed. All others are optional. Notice that you can also search your existing contacts to

locate the grantor if they are already in your database.

***NOTE: Set the fields you would like to be required under Settings > Required Fields (under the

Grants tab). ***

Once you have everything you want filled out, click Save on the top right

3. Tasks Create tasks for yourself or other staff members during the grant process.

When you click Add Task, you will get a window which looks like this:

*NOTE: You can create new Task Categories by going to Settings > Lookup Tables > Task Category.*

Fill out everything with a red asterisk (*) and anything else you may need. Be sure to check the

Reminder box if you want a reminder when signing into Eleo! When you are done, click Save on the

top right.

4. Milestones enter any milestones in the grant process.

Enter a name for the milestone and any other necessary information and click ‘Save’.

5. Expenses keep track of all of your grant expenses.

Fill out anything with a red asterisk (*) and any other important information. You can also search your

existing contacts to locate the vendor if they are already in your database. When you are done, click

'Save'.

6. Awards keep track of any grant money awarded.

Put the name of the money awarded and any other necessary information. Then click 'Save'.

7. Documents Upload documents related to your grant for easy access viewing anywhere you have

internet!

8. Reports - Access reports specific to the Grant you are working with.

PLEASE NOTE: There are also system grant reports which can be found under the Reports tab, however, those would include ALL grants unless you filter for a certain one.
