2.0 Custom Field Overview

The Contact Module and Gift Module each allow up to 20 custom fields (for a total of 40), allocated as follows:

• 10 Text fields each
• 5 Numeric fields each
• 5 Date fields each

These fields provide flexibility for capturing additional data specific to your organization’s needs.

Text Fields

Text fields store responses that may include letters, numbers, and/or symbols. The available types are:

• Text (Textbox) – A freeform text field where users can enter any combination of letters, numbers, or symbols.

  
  

• Email – Requires a valid email format (e.g., name@example.com).

  
  

• Dropdown – Users select one answer from a predefined list of options.

  
  

• URL – Requires a valid web address format (e.g., https://www.example.com).

  
  
• Checkbox – Users can select multiple answers from predefined options.

Numeric Fields

Numeric fields are designed for entries that contain only digits.

• Number – Accepts only numbers (0-9)

Date Fields

Date fields store date-specific values and enforce a consistent date format.

Date – Requires entries in the standard date format MM/DD/YYYY.
