2.0 Custom Field Overview
The Contact Module and Gift Module each allow up to 20 custom fields (for a total of 40), allocated as follows:
- 10 Text fields each
- 5 Numeric fields each
- 5 Date fields each
Note: In Eleo 2.0, checkbox fields count toward your Numeric field limit. Keep this in mind when planning your custom fields.
These fields provide flexibility for capturing additional data specific to your organization’s needs.
Text Fields
Text fields store responses that may include letters, numbers, and/or symbols. The available types are:

Text (Textbox) – A freeform text field where users can enter any combination of letters, numbers, or symbols.

Email – Requires a valid email format (e.g., name@example.com).

Dropdown – Users select one answer from a predefined list of options.

URL – Requires a valid web address format (e.g., https://www.example.com).
Numeric Fields
Numeric fields are used for entries that contain only digits.
- Number – Accepts only numbers (0–9)
- Checkbox – While used for selecting options, checkbox fields are counted toward your Numeric field limit in Eleo 2.0.
Date Fields
Date fields store date-specific values and enforce a consistent date format.
Date – Requires entries in the standard date format MM/DD/YYYY.
