How to Integrate with Stripe
Stripe is one of the payment processors that Eleo integrates with that will allow you to process one-time and recurring transactions using our Web Forms.
Please follow these instructions after your merchant account is created by Stripe. If any of these steps
are not visible in your account, please contact the Eleo Support Team at 1-(844)-676-3536 or at
Support@EleoOnline.com as we may need to make an adjustment in the back-end for you.
1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Click on System Settings.
3. If your Credit Card Module and Web Form Module are unchecked, please click on Edit in the
upper right-hand corner of the screen to check them off and then on Save.
4. Then click on Edit and scroll down to the Credit Card Settings section.
5. Change your Gateway Provider to Stripe and the Connection Type to Live.
6. Scroll back up to the top of the screen and click on Save.
7. You will need to go into your Stripe portal to locate your Public Key and Secret Key. NOTE: Be sure to copy the keys that start out pk_live and sk_live followed by a series of letters and numbers. You do not want the ones that say pk_test or sk_test as those are test keys.
a. User Tip: You may need to roll your keys to access the full string. See more about
this here or contact Stripe for assistance with this.
8. Once you have the Live Stripe Keys, go into Settings > System Settings in Eleo. This time do not
click Edit at the top, but instead scroll down to the Credit Card Settings and press the 'Edit'
hyperlink next to Stripe.
9. A small box will open. Paste the keys into the corresponding fields and then press Save.
10. You can also click on the Credit Card System Test button, which is a test to ensure your
integration is connected successfully.
11. When you receive the pop-up prompt, click on OK to proceed.
12. This is the message that shows if you are successfully connected.
