Adding an embedded video into a Web Form

Your video file must be uploaded and hosted online. There are many video hosting platforms to choose from, with a range of features and prices, so check what works best for your organization. Two popular video hosting platforms are YouTube and Vimeo, and both make it easy for you to embed your videos by providing you with the code to do so.

After uploading your video on a video hosting platform and obtaining the code to embed your video, follow the steps below to embed the video on your Eleo Web Form.

1) Decide where on your Eleo Web Form that you want your video to be. You can place the video above your form in the header, below your form in the footer, and/or on the confirmation page.

2) Copy the code to embed your video, and paste the code into the text box of where you want the video to appear. You can add text above and/or below the embedded video code for that text to appear on your Web Form, just not within the code. It will appear like this:

TIP: Want your video to automatically start playing when your supporters arrive on the Web Form and/or confirmation page? To make an embedded video autoplay, add "&autoplay=1" to the video's embed code right after the video ID (the series of letters that follows "embed/"). Do not add any spaces. That extra coding is included in the screenshot above.
