How to Process Memberships
You can update a group of records’ membership statuses using the ‘Process Memberships’ tool.
1. Hover over ‘Memberships’, scroll down, and click on ‘Process Memberships’.
2. Select the Membership Process that you want to use.
Active to Lapsed: Contacts that were due to pay their membership and they have not, but you have not cancelled them yet.
Lapsed to Dropped: These are cancelled memberships that did not pay.
Lapsed to Active: Memberships that are up to date with payments. They are Active.
3. Select the ‘Membership Type’ and the ‘Membership Level’ that you would like to update. Then, press ‘Select’.
4. Select the filters that you would like to use to identify the contacts that you wish to update. Days Over’ is the number of days a membership is expired based on the date that you fill in, or you can search based on the expiration start and end dates. Next, press ‘Select’ when you have made your selections.
5. Any eligible memberships based on your filter(s) will display. You may manually exclude any memberships on the right-hand side that you do not wish to update at this time. When ready, press ‘Select’ to continue.
6. You will see a summary of your selections and options. If everything is correct, select ‘Process Memberships’. If it does not seem correct, you can always press ‘Exit’ on the top right to close the process and start over.
7. You should see a window like this appear to let you know the updates are in progress.
8. You should then be re-directed to the Membership Search page, which lets you know the process is complete.
