How to Integrate with Mailchimp
1. From any screen in Eleo, select ‘Settings’.
2. Select ‘System Settings’.
3. Select ‘Edit’.
4. Check the box for Mailchimp, and then select ‘Save’.
5. Select ‘Exit’.
6. Mailchimp is now visible. Select ‘Mailchimp Settings’.
7. Select ‘Edit’.
8. Select ‘Yes’ for Use Mailchimp and press ‘Save’.
9. Select ‘Authorize’.
10. The below image shows the next screen that you will see. Fill out your existing Mailchimp account’s username and password. Then, click on ‘Log In’.
11. Next, click on ‘Allow’ to connect Eleo with your Mailchimp account.
12. Once Mailchimp verifies your account, you will be brought back to your Eleo database. Your status will change to show as ‘Connected’ and your Mailchimp account information will populate. Press ‘Exit’ to return to the Settings screen.
You have successfully completed the integration of Eleo with your Mailchimp account.
Note: Use Eleo to pull and export the contacts you want to email, then switch to Mailchimp to compose and send the email directly. Eleo manages your donor data, while Mailchimp handles email creation and delivery.
