How to Use Contact StatusTypes

Contact Status Types can be used to identify whether a contact is active, inactive, or any other customized status you would like. It is important to note, this field is purely informational and will not affect which records are counted towards your monthly subscription price.


1. Click on Settings from any page in your database.

2. Within the Settings menu, find and select ‘Lookup Tables’ under Account Settings.

3. Click on ‘Contact Status Types’.

4. From here, you can access Contact Status Types.

• To add a new Contact Status Type, click on Add New. Enter the new code that you would like to utilize. You can also enter a description for your information, but this is not necessary.

• Choose ‘Yes’ in the ‘Active’ dropdown if this is a Status Type you would like to currently use.

• Click on Save.

You can now build a list of contacts by status by choosing these filters:
