How to Track People that are Deceased
It is important that you keep your contact records updated by marking those that have passed to ensure that they are not receiving unnecessary communications.
To mark a person as deceased, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Contacts > Search Contacts.
2. Select the contact record that you would like to indicate as the deceased record.
3. Click on ‘Edit’ in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
4. Locate the ‘Deceased’ checkbox under the Contact Information section and click on it.
5. Lastly, click on ‘Save’ in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Please note: Those that are marked as deceased in your database will be automatically filtered out of your mailings unless you opt to include them.
