How to Add Users

Eleo gives you the ability to add unlimited users to your database.

1. To add a new user, click on ‘Settings’.

2. Under User Settings, click on ‘Users’.

3. Click on ‘Add User’.

4. A box will pop-up and ask you to select the type of user you wish to create: Full User (a regular user that has access to your Eleo Database) OR Solicitor Only (a person whose name will be available to choose from in the ‘Assigned to’ field, but will NOT have access to your Eleo Database). Once you make your selection, click on ‘Continue’.

5. Complete all of the required fields, which have a red asterisk next to them (*).

• Enter a User Name - this is the name that will be used to log into Eleo.

• Enter a User Type – this determines if a user will have access to Eleo or not.

  • A Full User will have access to Eleo.
  • Solicitor Only – person’s name will be available to assign contacts to, but that is it. They will not have access to the database.

• Enter the user’s first name, last name, and email address.

• Choose the user’s Access Role - these can be set up under Settings > User Settings > Roles. This will determine the access this user will have in the database, along with what they can see and modify.

• Locked Status will show if someone is currently locked out.

• Job Title – optional

• Show Task List on Login – check if you would like this user to see any tasks created for them upon login.

• Allow Email from Eleo – check if you would like this user to be able to send emails from within Eleo.

• Allow user to send email from other Eleo Users Email Addresses – check if you want this user to be able to send out emails from other user’s email addresses within Eleo.

• Scheduler, Activity, and Contact Defaults can be set as needed.

6. When you are done, click on ‘Save’ in the top right.

7. A Welcome Email should be sent out automatically to the new user, however if for some reason they do not receive it, you can click the ‘Welcome Email’ button to send it to that new user. This will provide them with the Eleo login, and prompt them to create a password.
