How to Delete a Gift

If you have an already existing gift in Eleo, we recommend being 100% sure that you want to move forward with deleting it. We are backed-up on Microsoft Azure daily, and once on weekends, in case you need to recover any data, though we highly suggest ensuring that if you would like to delete an item in Eleo, that you are positive that you want it removed from your database before performing this action.

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to delete a gift in our software:

1) Navigate to Gifts > Gifts > Search Gifts.

2) Locate and click on the Gift that you want to delete. You may use the Gifts Search (shown below) at the top of your screen to easily filter to find which gift you are searching for.

3) Once you are in the Gift Record for the gift that you would like to delete, click on Edit in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

4) Next, click on Delete to delete your selected gift.

5) You will then be prompted with the screen below to ensure you want to delete this gift.Please select OK to proceed or Cancel if you would like to discontinue with this action.

6) Once you have selected OK, your gift will have been deleted, and you will be brought back to the Gift Search screen. You have now successfully deleted your gift!
